Do you know about the many healing and prayer ministries at New Life? You can receive prayer for yourself or loved ones, and/or you can use your gifts to serve others. These prayer ministries include Intercessory Prayer, Congregational Prayer, Individual Prayer, Individual Healing Prayer (with anointing), Home Communion and Prayer, and our Sunday Night Prayer Telecon.
New Life’s Prayer Chain provides private Intercessory Prayer support. People use the Prayer Chain for urgent or time-sensitive prayer requests, as well as other prayers and praise reports too. A phone call or email triggers communication with New Life’s “Prayer Warriors.” They offer their gift of intercessory prayer. These individuals feel called to this ministry and drop everything to pray when called upon.
The Prayer List enables Congregational Prayer. This is for members of the parish and friends and family. The list includes only the first names of people in need of prayer. We publish their names in our weekly newsletter and speak them in the Sunday service so that the whole congregation can pray for them.
Specially trained and called parishioners offer Individual Healing Prayer with anointing after Communion each Sunday. Individual Pray-ers pray one-on-one with a person after the service each Sunday.
New Life’s trained and licensed Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEVs) provide Home Communion and Prayer to those who are regularly or temporarily unable to come to church. New Life also has a Sunday Night Prayer Telecon at 8 P.M. to pray for the parish and individual concerns.
Receive prayer; pray for others
