Organ Concert with Curt Brown

J. Curt BrownJ. Curt Brown, the Organist/Music Director at New Life Episcopal Church will be giving an organ recital at the church January 31 at 4:00. The program includes
  • Organ Concerto No. 2 by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
  • a setting of the Swedish folk tune "O Store Gud" by American composer Dale Wood (1934-2003)
  • Organ Sonata No. 2 in four movements by German composer Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy (1809-1847)
  • Fugue in G Major by J. S. Bach, ("The Gigue Fugue")
  • Two movements from Organ Symphony No.1, Andante and Final, by French composer Louis Vierne (1870-1937)
