Adult Education
Adult Education at New Life recognizes that faith is a journey, and at any one time, people can be found everywhere along that road---some at the beginning, some mid-way, and some toward the end. So our Spiritual Education strives to address all of these points of the journey. It also honors the Episcopal values of study, knowledge, reason, and responsibility for developing personal perspectives. Through small groups, classes, special programs, conference opportunities and guest speakers, New Life works to:
Adult Education

  • Teach the Christian Faith: To engage people, whatever point in their journey, with the Scripture, so that they are steadily increasing in their knowledge of, confidence in, and practice of the Christian faith.
  • Build Christian Character: To create various learning environments that stimulate personal and corporate growth in the character of Christ and the increasing development of the fruit of the Spirit.
  • Equip for Christian Service and Ministry: To develop reliance upon the Holy Spirit and discern his gifts in us, leading to an active engagement in personal ministries that address the needs within all spheres of our world through Christian service.
  • Encourage Christian Fellowship: To encourage active participation  and deepening relationships with other members of the congregation, as an outgrowth of communion with God in Christ by the Holy Spirit, and based on a common desire to continue the journey of faith and to love God and each other.
